I've been married for a long time and for me, this book brought to surface those early memories of falling in love. I think about the things that my wife does that may annoy me now, but back then, in those early days, she could do no wrong. I know I have plenty of things that I do that gets on her nerves as well. This book reminds me of the love that surpasses those irritations. All of the early feelings of falling in love are in this story between Edison and Bellamy. From the first glance to the first touch and the magical first kiss. Each stage of their growing relationship bursts from the page with authentic accuracy on the backdrop of a small town and the hectics of family and friends all around.
This is the book you never knew you needed.
Golden hour was such a cute and cozy read. This would be a perfect read for fall and the holidays. Edison and Bellamy were so cute and smitten with each other. Bellamy had her issues and hangups after multiple failed relationships and it made her very relatable. This book had such a cute ending.
While this book is not my normal read it was cute and very well done and I enjoyed reading it.
Golden Hour is full romance, just the right amount of wit and storytelling that blends together perfectly. The writing is excellent and draws you right into the story. Perfect novella if you want a feel good story with likable and relatable characters. Excellent first story by a debut author that leaves you anxious to read the next.
Golden Hour was a wonderful novella that gave all the good feels. It literally read like a small town Hallmark movie. Bellamy is a girl I can relate with that has doubts of people sticking around. Graham is the guy who has devoted his life to his work and his sisters family.
When they both signed up for a stranger photo session, they both got hesitant and almost backed out. In the end, they did the photo shoot...and fate took over from there.
This story goes through the ups and downs with all the cuteness sprinkled in. I loved this book and read it in a day.
This book had me from the start!
It has a 'Content Warning' list in the front. I decided to read this book just because of that alone. ❤️ You'll see what I mean when you read it yourself.
Cute, sweet, loving, relatable, and oh so adorable. Edison and Bellamy are my mind of people.
My only critique, I wish it was longer.
